This website is run by the Bishop's School Alumni Association ("BSA", "we", "us") in Amman, Jordan. By using the site — browsing it, sending a form, or building a basket in the store — you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms apply to the BSA website and all of its pages. The BSA mobile app has its own terms, shown on its App Store and Google Play listings, and is not covered here. Membership of the association itself (bylaws, fees, rights and duties) is governed by BSA's own separate documents, which prevail over these terms if they conflict.

You may use the site for your own non-commercial purposes: reading news and events, contacting us, applying for membership and browsing the store. You may not:

• use the site in any way that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers or its admin panel;
• send spam, automated or abusive messages through the forms, give false information or impersonate another person;
• copy, scrape or republish site content without permission;
• introduce malicious software or interfere with the operation or availability of the site.

We may block access or disregard messages that break these rules.

Sending the "Register as Alumni Member" form is a request to join, not automatic acceptance. Membership is open to Bishop's School alumni, and to friends of the school as BSA's rules provide. BSA decides on applications and informs you of the outcome by email.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give (name, graduation year, contact details) and for keeping it up to date. We may ask for proof of your connection to the school before accepting an application.

• No online payment. The "basket" is only a tool for preparing your order; "Email this basket" opens a message in your own email program that you send to us yourself.
• Order confirmation. An order exists only once we have confirmed it to you by email, with the final price, availability, and the agreed payment and collection or delivery arrangement.
• Prices are shown in Jordanian dinars and may change until an order is confirmed. Photos are illustrative and colours may differ slightly.
• Returns and exchanges are as agreed at confirmation and in line with Jordanian consumer-protection rules.
• We may decline or cancel an order if an item is out of stock or a price is obviously wrong, and will tell you if so.

Published event details (date, venue, programme) may change; we update the site and the app whenever we can. Registering for an event or buying a ticket is subject to the conditions announced for that event at the time of registration, including its cancellation policy.

The name "Bishop's School Alumni Association", the BSA crest, and the site's design, text and images are owned by or licensed to BSA and protected by intellectual-property law. The Bishop's School name and emblem belong to the school; our partners' logos belong to their owners.

You may view and print content for your personal use only. Any other use — copying, altering, republishing, commercial use — needs our prior written permission.

What you type into the site's forms remains yours; by sending it you allow us to use it as far as needed to reply and handle your request. You undertake that what you send is not unlawful, abusive or infringing of anyone's rights, and that you are entitled to send it.

The site links to sites and services we do not operate (the Facebook group, Instagram, the app stores, partner websites). They are provided for convenience only; we are not responsible for their content, practices or availability.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It may contain errors or out-of-date information, and it may be unavailable at times for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. Content is general information and not professional advice.

To the extent the law allows, BSA, its board members and volunteers are not liable for any indirect loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may change these terms from time to time. The updated version is published on this page with its "last updated" date and applies from publication. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated version.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from use of the site, after we have first tried to resolve it amicably. If the Arabic and English texts differ, the Arabic text prevails.
